In a beginning I am suggesting a half an hour lesson for the rate of $35.
It is usually enough time for me to introduce a new material, and the
students always feel they have enough of work for the week.
Also we just added a new location on Huron Village with a new Steinway.
Coming from an old school, surprisingly I have been quiet successful with adult beginners.
I am a Member of New England Piano Teachers Association - Professional Piano teacher (Russian), who have an opening for few new students in her Piano studio in Cambridge.
I have 20 years of experience in teaching children and adults, including adult beginners. Advanced pianists are welcome as well. I do teach on graduate level.
Master of Music Degree from Longy School of Music, Cambridge, MA and St. Petersburg, Russia.
Students will have a chance to practice in performance practice at the end of the year.
When e-mail me, please:
-Tell me about yourself and your previous experience with music (if any);
-tell me if you read notes,
-have a piano
-and how much time per day you well be able to practice.
(keep in mind -- it is not the number of hours, it's consistent practice on everyday basis that you can fit in your regular day schedule will give you the results and satisfaction).
-indicate the time you can meet with me for you first free lesson.
It will help me to speed up the process and not being had to e-mail back and forth,
however, by all means if you have a question do not hesitate to e-mail and ask.
