Capital Construction Contracting INC is looking for an experienced home remodeling production manager to help lead our construction team. This person manages our project managers and installers. The production manager is responsible for the entire production process of the company.
S/he coordinates all activities related to the actual remodeling or construction of jobs. The production manager is responsible for completing each job on time, on budget and with a high level of quality. The production manager will represent the company for all production related items and complete client satisfaction is the ultimate goal.
The Perfect Candidate:
A self-starter that thrives in an entrepreneurial environment. Likes a fast/loose environment that provides you the opportunity to tackle projects with autonomy Loves people and home remodeling, well organized and detailed oriented Professional degree, in preferably in Construction Management or equivalent onsite experience Proficient with MS office and project management software (Training provided) Working knowledge of residential construction methods, techniques and systems; and building codes
Has at least 3 years, full-time experience in managing residential or small commercial remodeling projects. Has a passion for home remodeling and a desire to create a business that is bigger than yourself Understands that work should be fun and have the desire and the need to love what you do.
The Role:
Production Planning Reviews proposals / contracts for feasibility, cost and schedule issues On going evaluation of vendor partners Responsible for material delivery oversight Management of Jobs Responsible for a complete understanding of the job from available verbal and written information including: blueprints, specifications and bids Insures that each client is contacted daily to monitor job progress, quality, safety, cleanliness and site security Creates job schedules, orders materials and schedules trade partners Conducts a pre-construction meeting at the start of each job Maintains job log for each active job Conducts regular project review meetings with clients
Responsible for change orders: scope, cost, documentation and client approval Responsible for punch list and job completion sign off Financial / Cost Management Identifies cost concerns in the estimating phase Responsible for daily percent complete construction reports Tracks actual costs against estimates and coordinates with sales and accounting Approves sub contractor invoices for payment Supervision Ensures compliance with all company rules, policies and agreements Supervises field staff and sub contractor partners Evaluates quality at each production step Document company procedures and train employees and sub contractors Work Hours and Schedule
We work with clients from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm on weekdays. (Available after hours/weekends for emergencies periodically throughout the year) The position is anticipated to be a 50 hour per week commitment. Periodically the job will require additional time.
