Ambiance is a 1979 Sabre 34, currently located at Constitution Marina, with the slip paid through April. She features a centerboard keel with approximately 4’ draft board up and 7’ down, making her well suited for a mix of coastal cruising and shallow-water access. The hull was cleaned and recoated in 2022, with regular diver maintenance performed multiple times per season.
She is powered by a Yanmar 3JH2E diesel rated at approximately 38 horsepower, currently showing about 874 hours. Cooling is via freshwater heat exchanger, and the boat cruises comfortably and quickly under power. Sail inventory includes an Elvström 135% genoa from 2017 and a mainsail from Harding. Electronics include chartplotter, radar, AIS receive, autopilot, and VHF.
Needed work / price adjustment
The mast step is due for replacement and should be addressed this season. With the mast down for that work, the standing rigging and lifting system should be evaluated and updated. The asking price has been reduced to $11,500 (from $15,000) to account for these items, price is additionally negotiable.
