In maple with traces of red and green paint. Legs trimmed. Seat needs finishing (we bought a roll of cord, included, but this seat was started with a slightly larger diameter and never finished---whoops! Mortice & peg construction with turned columns and oak stretchers. Old repairs. Late 1700s New England. Ancient and beautiful. Provenance: Keene Auctions. Bless the person who finishes this project!
