Vintage / retro Crewel? Embroidered wall hanging A310 - $75 (Northern RI)

I don't know if this is crewel or needlepoint or neither or if both of those are the same thing. It's fun and bright and old so take a look at the photos. Piece is in pretty good condition. It is not properly in the frame and I left it loose in case you wanted to remove or change the frame. Colors are bright and vibrant. Frame has some nicks and scratches but overall pretty good.
