Limited edition hand numbered & signed poster: "NEW ORLEANS JAZZ AND HERITAGE FESTIVAL 1993"
by renowned African American artist John T. Scott (1940 –2007), professionally mounted & framed.
I'm not sure what type of printing process was used, but the colors are much more vibrant in person than in the photos.
It measures 34-1/4" high, by 22-1/4" wide, and comes wired and ready to hang.
It would make a great gift for any art and/or music lover, adding vibrant color to living, work, or studio space.
Cash preferred please.

Nineteenth in the series by John Scott. ProCreations produced its last New Orleans Jazz Festival poster in 1990. For three years thereafter, the contract was held by two other companies, winding up in the third year in the hands of Bright Moments, New Orleans' premier African-American advertising agency. They commissioned John Scott, recipient of a MacArthur "genius" Award, who produced this challenging mosaic of traditional New Orleans music. (The company that held the publishing contract for 1991 & 1992 does not permit the works it produced to be displayed in any compilation. The Jazz & Heritage Foundation destroyed the unsold inventory of that company in 1992 to preserve the value and integrity of the series.)
