We’re a busy hot-rod and performance shop where no two days are the same. This is a place for people who like staying busy, enjoy multitasking, and can see the big picture. We don’t twiddle our thumbs — we move the company forward however needed.
This shop can be heaven or hell for the right person. If you love variety, teamwork, and jumping between projects, you’ll fit right in.
Bonus: Easy 5-day work week leaves room for project cars, racing, and real hobbies.
Fun fact: We all drive modified cars here… except the boss.
Another fact: We’re one of the last true hot-rod shops on the East Coast — a real hidden gem.
What You’ll Be Doing:
We handle a wide range of work during our 5-day, 35-hour work week, including but not limited to:
Cutting wood for engine shipping crates
Cutting and prepping metal for fabrication projects
Working on high-horsepower hot rod and performance builds
American engine assembly, machining, rebuilding, dyno testing, and service
Manual transmission assembly and service
2D CAD design, engineering, prototyping, and project completion
Forklift operation and warehouse tasks
Recording and editing video clips for social media
Internet, media, and light sales tasks
Answering phones (huge plus if you can do this confidently)
If something needs to be done and it helps the shop — that’s the job.
What We’re Looking For
Automotive and metal fabrication experience
Strong multitasking ability
Team-oriented, flexible mindset
Comfortable bouncing between hands-on shop work and lighter admin/media tasks
Self-motivated and dependable
If you “know enough to be dangerous” and can help shoulder the load, we want to talk.
Schedule & Pay
35 hours per week
5-day work week
Late start: Shop opens at 10:00 AM (great for parents / “old man hours”)
Flexible lunch breaks
Competitive starting hourly rate
