I have an early 1940s Craftsman freestanding drill press for sale. It is in great original condition. I believe these were made for Sears by Atlas at that stage in the game. This one is a model 101.03662. It is single phase, runs extremely quiet, and has the side pull chain on/off switch that works perfectly. The table is almost pristine with only a little extra rounding on the center hole. No other misses. It is in used condition and as you can see from the photos, it has not been completely restored visually. It is ready to work or you could paint it and have a shop queen. It has a single phase 1/3hp motor and the appropriate pulleys. I have a video of it running and I can send you a link.
