We are hoping to find someone who will love our RV as much as we have!
We rented for several years before buying this model and have loved everything about her. The super flexible layout of the Thor 25V makes her the perfect RV for couples, families, friend groups, and digital nomads. Owning vs renting has been a joy because we set up for the season and are always just ready to go. We even take her when we are visiting older family members so that they don’t have to worry about making up the guest bed. It is truly our home away from home.
Our kids are grown and we have decided to retire a little earlier than expected. So, we are going to shift to a tiny van since we don’t need all of the extra space and no longer need to work during the day.
______________
Some of our favorite things about this layout:
• STORAGE – This model has a HUGE garage for bringing along your gear and tons of extra cabinets inside to organize all of your things. There is plenty of space for everyone and everything.
• FLEXIBLE SLEEPING – The bed can be reconfigured in multiple ways making the unit more flexible for different groups to go out. With the bunk and the convertible dinette, we have had six people comfortably. (Note there are only 4 seat belts. Our friends joined us in a separate car)
• KITCHEN – We are massive foodies and the fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to cook all your favorite meals. The fridge is a really great size and could easily accommodate a week of food or more. The kitchen is so big that we often think that the slide-out is out even when it isn't.
______________
BOONDOCKING
Our preferred mode of camping has been “boondocking” around New England which is why she has such low miles. We typically drive to a remote beautiful place and stay put for a while “off grid”. We can typically stay completely remote for a week with two adults and two dogs… if you are conservative with water, you could go longer.
______________
WORKING REMOTELY
Since we have both been able to work remotely, we completed a ton of upgrades to the electrical system so that we could power multiple computers and monitors all day even out in the middle of an empty field without having to run the generator. A huge benefit to this layout is that there is a “front room” and a “back room” which allows two people to work and take video calls without issue.
• POWER – We have made substantial upgrades to the power system to provide endless power even with two digital nomads. We use a starlink to give us full speed internet access from literally anywhere!
• NEW POWER SPECS - 500W Solar & 400Ah of Lithium Battery, 3000W Inverter
______________
THE LITTLE THINGS
Over time, we also made a number of other little upgrades to make life more comfortable on the road. Examples include:
• KITCHEN - Drawer inserts for organizing everything you need
• CABINETS – New drawer pulls and door locks, built in shoe cubbies
• DOOR – Replaced side window with clear glass (& shade) to increase road visibility
• GRILL – Added porch-side propane grill line onto
• BEDROOM TV – Added a second TV in the bedroom (can be used as a computer monitor.
• WINDOW COVERS – Keep out the heat and cold with front window cover.
______________
We have put a lot of love into this RV and we are hoping to find someone who will love her as much as we have. We are happy to spend a whole day training you on every system and will even share our “secret” places to go.
A BIT ABOUT US
Our kids are grown and we are retiring. We have decided to downsize to a tiny van since we don’t need all of the extra space and no longer need to work during the day.
For tons of photos, you can see images on this dealership post. The only thing we don't have is the exterior TV. That space is used for the incredible 3000W inverter instead so you can be off grid!
