I studied guitar at Berklee College of Music, completing three semesters of study. My playing is rooted in rock guitar, strongly influenced by jazz and blues traditions. I currently teach at guitar center.
I’ve performed with numerous local bands and have opened for national acts including Cactus, The Hollywood Allstars, and Jeff Pitchell, John Butcher and Charlie Farren. These experiences have shaped both my musicianship and my practical, real-world approach to music.
As a teacher, I tailor lessons to each student’s interests and goals. Instruction can include learning songs, improvisation, music theory, scales, modes, chords, and effective practice routines. Whether a student wants to play for fun, perform live, or deepen their understanding of music, I focus on making lessons engaging, musical, and practical.
