I am a guitarist in my early 20s trying to put together a band and I am seeking a drummer who is also in their 20s to join.
Idea for the music is doom metal/sludge metal mixed with hard rock, grunge, classic rock, punk, groove metal, southern metal, folk. Riff-oriented, simple, heavy, catchy music that is also raw and with dynamics.
You do not have to be a virtuoso or the most technically skilled drummers. This is a simple style of music centered around riffs, groove, and song composition above all else.
INSPIRATIONS: Black Sabbath, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Type O Negative, Down, Acid Bath, Kyuss, Corrosion of Conformity, Ac/Dc, Eyehategod, Weedeater, Sleep, Electric Wizard, Queens of the Stone Age, Pantera, Black Flag, Melvins, Misfits, Crowbar, Metallica, Nirvana, Saint Vitus, Trouble, Windhand, etc.
