Genuine Amber pendant on sterling snake necklace - $95 (Natick)

The sterling, snake chain necklace is stamped as 925 and made in Italy, it is only 16" long. Might not work for everybody.
The handcrafted Baltic amber is a little over 1" high and 3/4" at the widest point, with the hanger it is 1.5" high total.
The pendant is made from a drop shaped clear amber cabochon and it is in an egg shaped silver frame decorated with silver leaves.
The stone is on the darker side but quite transparent, there are visible plant / insect inclusions in it.
The pendant is also hallmarked as 925 and there is another maker stamp. It was made in Poland, where the tradition of making amber jewelry has been known since the Neolithic era.
