Monarch butterflies are attracted to their flowers and lay their eggs on the leaves of these plants and other pollinating insects love their flowers.
They require full sun any soil, regular watering,.. the 2 varieties get about 4 feet to 5 feet tall. Both are Perennials. Swamp milkweed plants get more fuller and have more stalks of flowers. Have sold many, (and planted many too, with great luck) People have been buying them for planting butterfly gardens, vacant fields, also using the seeds to make seed bombs which is a great project for kids or schools, or to give as gifts, or as wedding favors as well.
