This couch is only a couple of years old, and the pull-out feature has never been used; the mattress is still in the original plastic bag, even! There is a little cat-scratch damage on the front of the arms... we bought protective covers but not quite soon enough. If not for this, I would have marked it as "Excellent", because otherwise, it's pretty perfect! Also, while it will be in our garage, it has always been in our living room until this very morning, as our new couch was delivered, so it's very clean.
