Position Overview:
Dryft Wellesley is seeking a Restaurant Manager to help oversee daily floor operations and support the leadership team in maintaining exceptional service standards. This position plays a key role in leading service, supporting staff development, and ensuring smooth restaurant operations.vvThe ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and is eager to take on increasing leadership responsibility over time.
Responsibilities:
• Lead daily floor operations during service, ensuring smooth and efficient restaurant flow.
• Support the General Manager in maintaining service standards, hospitality, and operational consistency.
• Supervise and mentor front-of-house staff, fostering teamwork and accountability.
• Maintain strong guest engagement and resolve service issues with professionalism and care.
• Assist with staff training, onboarding, and performance development.
• Maintain restaurant standards including cleanliness, organization, and appearance.
• Collaborate with kitchen leadership to ensure smooth communication between FOH and BOH.
• Monitor service flow, guest satisfaction, and overall restaurant atmosphere.
• Assist with scheduling, shift management, and daily operational oversight.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume environment.
• Strong leadership presence and the ability to guide teams during busy service.
• Experience with staff training, POS systems, reservation platforms, and operational management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm, solution-oriented, and organized in fast-paced environments.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and grow into increased operational responsibilities.
