Living with Gout? Consider Joining a Clinical Trial
The RUBY Study will test how effective and safe a study drug called dotinurad may be in treating gout, compared to allopurinol
You may be able to join the RUBY Study if you:
• Are age 18 to 75 years old
• Have been diagnosed with gout for at least 1 year
• Have had at least two gout flares in the last 12 months before joining the study
• Have been taking the same dose of allopurinol for at least 3 months
If you qualify, you may receive at no cost:
• Either dotinurad or study-supplied allopurinol
• Monitoring by the study team throughout the study
• Additional criteria may apply
