Will deliver for $20 your house within about 5 miles of Wellesley town center (or further for a fee) if paid in advance via Venmo or cash at our location. I strongly encourage you in either case to examine it here, working, first and be satisfied.
This is a fully working TiVo with Lifetime Subscription (meaning you don't have to pay any monthly fees etc). If you don't know what a TiVo or DVR (digital video recorder) is, I can't help you ;)
Listing includes TiVo and "peanut" remote -- remote requires hard-press on buttons and can be laggy, so you may want to spend $8 on ebay or Amazon and get a new one.
The Series 2 TiVos had Tivo-to-go functionality -- so, could connect to networks via Ethernet or Wifi w. a dongle and share / transfer shows to PC/portable devices. Can still do with PYTivo software! We have a DWL-122 dongle which we can include for an extra $20 too.
They also pair nicely with Digital Tuner boxes (TiVo remote and IR cable can control tuner) so you can still use them to record broadcast OTA (over the air) signals, as well as of course any signal fed into them by a cable TV or satellite box. (We also have a Zinwell ZAT-970A w. remote and would include for $25 extra if desired)
