I run a successful tutoring business. My students want a summer engineering camp, something that will allow them to design and build something with an appropriate level of challenge for motivated high schoolers. I can cover any "classroom" component of what they will need to learn. What I want help with is designing the project itself.

If you are an engineer who likes working with kids and who can help me to come up with a satisfying project for high schoolers to work on, and also help me select appropriate teaching materials so the kids can learn the principles behind what they're working on, this gig is for you.
Proposals should have a basic project for the kids to work on, but also suggested "extensions" that they could tackle in case they complete the original goals quickly. (Nobody wants to pay for a six-week program [example length] but only have three weeks of actual material!) Ideal proposals will integrate physical construction with computer-coded controls.
I have resources to dedicate to this in order to make it successful, but they aren't unlimited. The kids shouldn't be asked to design and build an aircraft engine – but they shouldn't be just building popsicle-stick bridges either.
