Ion Tamaian (born: 1954) is probably the greatest glass artist in Romania.
Stunning decorative statement piece, great art glass collectible for the collector.
The glass body adorned with fluid, organically shaped applications of colored crystal or glass, a unique hand-blown and fused glass technique the artist known for.
This vase is 19" h, on a 6.5" frosted base and 10.5" diameter at the top.
Iridescent vase with Art Deco inspired lines below the lip. 4 multi color swirls at the outer surface. Very heavy, one of a kind art work.
In excellent condition. It was never used as a vase, only displayed.
