There is also a stamp on it showing an ancient Greek temple and 1952 on it.
This classical period amphora depicts Dionysus on its one side and Minerva on the other one, based on originals from around 430 BC.
It is 10" tall and 5.5" wide at the handles.
The base is 3.25" and the top is 3.75" in diameter.
Nice detailed art work, typical colors in this type of urns.
