The graphics features several iconic Grateful Dead characters, including the dancing bears, a terrapin turtle, a skull, dancing skeletons, and red roses in an Egyptian-themed tableau. The back of the shirt features a prominent Bear/Sphinx character in front of the Pyramids, with dancing skeletons overhead. It commemorates the band's three-night performance at the Giza pyramid complex in Egypt in September 1978.
This is a pre-owned, gently worn tee originally purchased in 1996, size XL. The tie-dye colors are still bold and vibrant and the overall condition is VG+ (NOTE: there is a small red mark on the neckline, which we have not tried to remove, but should come out with some simple care; see photos).).
