Beautiful tall porcelain urn vase in very good vintage condition. This heavyweight piece stands about 2 feet (approx. 24") high from base to finial and features delicate, hand-painted chinoiserie decoration: birds, branches, butterflies and flowering vines richly detailed with fine brushwork and gilt outline accents. The glaze shows fine age crazing that adds character. The vase is finished with elegant metal (likely bronze or brass) scrolling handles, a matching pierced metal base and a domed lid with a gilt finial.

This is a decorative statement piece — substantial and eye-catching — ideal for a foyer, mantel, formal living room or as a pair flanking a chimney or console table.

Condition:

Very good vintage condition. No chips, cracks or repaired breaks observed in the main body.

All hand-painted decoration intact; gold accents show light wear consistent with age.

Glaze displays fine crazing (age-related network of glaze lines) visible in photos — common and expected on older porcelain.

Metal base and handles have expected patina and light wear.
