A Limited Edition Original Signed/Framed Stone Lithograph on paper. Numbered and signed in pencil by the artist, circa 1950s.
Limited Edition of 125 lithographs.
Considered a piece of Judaica art, the print depicts an old Jewish tailor with a long beard and a kippah, working at a sewing machine with a large patterned piece of cloth, as a trio of cats sit at his feet. It is a black and white print created using a sketchy linework style. Limited edition lithographs are often considered original prints because the artist is directly involved in creating the image on the printing surface.
Moishe Jakov was a Jewish artist and lithographer known for his Judaica art, particularly depictions of Jewish life and Judaic themes. His work is described as being in the Realism style.
