The artwork depicts a serene nautical scene of a blue and white boat with a simple mast, beached in dry dock area on a shore near a small wooden boathouse shack. Based on a similar Gloucester, MA watercolor scene painted by American marine artist Gordon Hope Grant in the 1930s called “A Man and His Boat,” this is a rather attractive homage to coastal Gloucester, a seaside setting that many enjoy collecting.
Professionally framed; beautiful, vintage gilt wooden frame.
