This Lionel #121 City Station was one of the early non-illuminated stations Lionel produced in the prewar 1920s. It is enameled metal and is intended for use with Standard or O.
Colors: The Station has its original finish with terra cotta brick walls and dark cream trim and chimneys. The windows and roof are pea green. The moveable front and rear doors are dark red. The base is a medium gray-brown.
CONDITION: Good. Given its age, it has the expected share of chips and wear. On the base, outside the rear door a section of the paint is peeling [see photos]. There is a slight bit of rust, mostly inside the building and roof, and not visible. The Lionel City sign is missing.
