FOUR matching Windsor Paddle Back Dining Chairs.
These chairs have been in my family since the early 1930s, my Mother in Law made a trade for them, a hand sewn quilt.
They have been stored in my finished basement since about 1950.
They have a great feature you don’t see much these days, steam bent paddle spindles on backs.
Two of these chairs could use some tightening up around joints (screws). One chair has an almost through crack on the seat (can be fixed with a little wood putty) and a “new” screw on front of back (PLEASE SEE LAST PHOTO). A nice paint job and these chairs will be gorgeous.
