I have two rare, beautifully framed color engravings on paper, each measuring 26 ½ by 23 ½ by famous French painter Jean-Honoré Fragonard (5 April 1732– 22 August 1806).

*Le Verrou (The Bolt). Can be seen at the Metropolitan Museum in New York.
*Le Baiser à la Dérobée (The Stolen Kiss). Can be seen at the Clark Institute Art Museum in Williamstown, MA

Fragonard was a French painter and print maker whose late Rococo manner was distinguished by remarkable facility, exuberance, and hedonism. One of the most prolific artists active in the last decades of the Ancien Régime, Fragonard produced more than 550 paintings (not counting drawings and etchings), of which only five are dated. Among his most popular works are genre paintings conveying an atmosphere of intimacy and veiled eroticism.

His biography is on Wikipedia

The images don’t do these paintings justice. They really have to be seen in person. $250 each or $425 for the pair.
