Hibel was best known for lyrical images of mothers, children, and families, many produced as original multi‑stone color lithographs printed in Zurich. Her studio notes explain that she drew on multiple stones, often using up to 32 colors, and then hand‑signed and sometimes hand‑enhanced each impression. Her art has been exhibited globally, and she was cited for her innovations in artistic methods, particularly in original stone lithography.
