This is an original 19th‑century Japanese ukiyo‑e woodblock print by Utagawa Kunisada (Toyokuni III), from his series “One Hundred Beautiful Women at Famous Places in Edo,” showing a courtesan on Azuma Bridge releasing birds. The series is dated to 1857 (late Edo), and attributed to Kunisada I / Toyokuni III, a major bijin‑ga and actor-print artist of the Utagawa school.
