Element Productions is a commercial production company and post-production facility located in Allston, MA. Element has produced commercials for Subway, Uno Chicago Grill, Dunkin Donuts, and the Massachusetts Lottery, just to name a few.

The internship:
Element Productions offers internships year-round. Although the internships are unpaid, we can give college credit. Interns will have the opportunity to go on set of a commercial shoot, where there is potential for payment.
Interns will help out with general office duties such as errands and answering phones. They will also assist the Executive Producer with special projects and research assignments. Students skilled in Final Cut and/or After Effects might also have the opportunity to work with editors in post-production.

The National Broadcasting Society is an Emerson College organization dedicated to the media arts, focusing on film, television and broadcasting. NBS�s current project, entitled Thy Kill Be Done, is a short film written, produced and directed by Emerson College students.

The location of the shoot is Boston, MA and will take place from November 20-23, 2009.

Roles available:
Male mid-late 60's. Monsignor O'Byrron is a strong leader of his church.
Male mid 30's. A benevolent and respected member of the church.
Female 40's. A nun belonging to the church.
Female 50's. A nun belonging to the church.

The project is a trailer for a film in which four nuns decide to take matters into their own hands and clean up the city where their church resides.

Cinematographer wanted to work with Criminal Justice college students and professor on low-budget video project dealing with violence against children. You must have your own equipment. Can pay 200-300 dollars for a few hours of filming during the week. It is a project with a lot of energetic people working toward a very important cause. If it is helpful if you have an interest in the cause, and have experience on similar projects. We would like the filming done in November, but there is some flexibility with dates. You will get the chance to tape a large event (200+ people) with famous speaker/businessman Richie Goldman (cofounder of Men's Wearhouse, $1.8 billion in revenue, 1000+ stores).

The event is at Babson College in Knight Auditorium this coming Wednesday, October 14, 2009. We would need you there from 5:30-10pm.

The event is being hosted by a new non profit. A documentary is being shown called Crude: The Real Price of Oil. (www.crudethemovie.com). The event schedule:

6:00-6:45pm � �Cocktails� (catch the audience mingling pre event)
7:00-8:45pm � Crude Documentary (capture Richie's speech before documentary showing)
9:00-9:30pm � Concluding words (capture Richie's concluding words and subsequent interviews with attendees).

The key is to capture the excitement of the event. A shotgun mic and a small mountable light will help since it's indoors.

Actors wanted who are very comfortable performing with live RATS. I'll need an actor to play the role of a character who will be dressed as a whimsical clown "appearing to be trapped" with rats inside a clear fiberglass box. This is for two nights of private halloween parties that will be set up at the entrance of a Haunted House in Newton, Massachusetts. The hired actors will be performing with other fun, creative, acting professionals. The Customer Is Always Right, an independent short film, tells the story of an overblown, controlling executive and a no-nonsense hit man that have come to terms on the meaning of good service, with dire results. This a modern film noir. Seeking experienced actors for the roles of:

Clifford- male, late 40's. A self-made man that uses the 3 B's, Bully, Bribe, and Buy, to get what he deserves out of life.
Thanatus- male, late 30's. To this hit man, talk is cheap. Gotta pay to play.
Mary, the little,old lady- female, petite, frail in appearance. All she wanted was ice cream but boy, did she get a mouthful.
John- male, 25-35. A wise-guy and funny-man that's had it with the ice cream biz.

AUDITION: Saturday October 10, 10AM - 2 PM at the Center for Digital Imaging Arts at BU, 274 Moody St, Waltham, MA. This is a scheduled audition. TRACS, Inc., a sports marketing and event management company based in Chestnut Hill, MA, is seeking video production and editing interns to fill openings during Spring 2010. The company is heavily involved in the Elite Athlete Village at the Boston Marathon, WBZ-TV production of the Boston Marathon, Emerging Elites, and 5K Run/Walk event management in Boston, San Diego, Atlanta and New Orleans. Interns will utilize video footage from each of our events to produce marketing clips and instructional videos. Interns will also have the opportunity to develop an extensive portfolio while applying their personal creativity to each project.

Required Skills:

⋅ Strong working knowledge of Final Cut Studio Express
⋅ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a quick project turnaround time
⋅ Exceptional multi-tasking skills
⋅ Strong organizational skills
