Boston Pixel Entertainment is a production company founded in 2011 by brothers Jim Meegan (Director of Photography/Editor) and Rob Meegan (Producer).

We are currently in the pre-production stages of putting together a comedic series in the Greater Boston area and are looking for comedic/writing/acting talent in order to develop projects.

So, what we've decided to do is host an online audition. We'll take a look at demo reels, portfolios, video blogs, short flms, commercials, sketch performances, improv acts, impressions... anything that you've got online that shows off your talent.

Now, the catch is that there is very little budget for this project. BUT, take a look at our stuff. Boston Pixel has very high production standards and you can be certain that this is no amateur production. Jim Meegan is the DP/Editor of the acclaimed short film "Zombie in a Penguin Suit" (http://youtu.be/jtdEKIsnEkM) and is looking to make a move into producing comedy for the web, and ultimately perhaps TV. We've got a couple solid contacts, both in Boston and LA, and are working on an aggressive sponsorship/advertising model which we are confident in once we have a pilot under our belt. If everything goes according to plan, we'll all be getting paid soon enough.

If you can bring the right style of humor and personality, this could be a great partnership for everyone. We've got the behind-the-camera skills as well as equipment, we just need to find the right talent that will shine in front of it. The goal is to take advantage of advances in technology (HD, Broadband, YouTube) in order to get new comedic voices and stories out to millions of people.

Must either live on Nantucket or have easy access to the island (we will cover cost of ferry tickets). ISABELLA (20-35), Mexican/Latino, who had bad memories in her childhood and came to the States for work. She goes to a massage house and starts to seeing her heart again through the deep conversation and imagination journey with the blind masseur.

LIN (16-26), blind Chinese, who came to the states when he was 11. He loves imagining the world and shows Isabella a different perspective to see the world.

ALISON'S MOTHER- Alison's depressed and overweight mother, need an actress age 40-60. One day commitment, filming in Bridgewater, MA.
THE WHITE RABBIT- A mysterious woman in Playboy bunny attire whom Alison sights before blacking out and winding up in Wonderland. Need an attractive actress or model age 18-30. One day commitment, filming in Plymouth, MA.
THE RED QUEEN- Wonderland's brutal and remorseless buxom lady monarch, will be younger and sexier than traditionally depicted. Talented actress needed age 21-35. Fairly lengthy commitment, six days of shooting in various locales. Dialog spoken in British accent, talent with or natural a plus.
THE ACE OF HEARTS- The Queen's second in command and the leader of her "Card Guards". A very opportunistic sycophant, handsome actor needed, age 25-40.
THE CARD GUARDS- Various members of the Queen's Knights Templar-like "card guard". Most will be needed for five days, others will be needed for two, including the Four and Five of Hearts who are executed. Young actors preferred.

I also am looking for various roles behind the scenes, including someone to help with videographer work as I am compiling behind the scenes footage for a making of documentary that will be released with the movie, I also need puppeteers for the Cheshire Cat puppet which will need three people to operate and a makeup artist for a few of the scenes. I also, very importantly, need a driver for some days, I can pay $100 per day for that which is gas plus a little extra for time spent onset.

I also am still in need of a few locations, namely a school cafeteria, a grade/high school or college will do if anyone is able to wrestle me one from the schools' bureaucracy. I also need a dingy, dungeon-like basement and a fancy dining room. I will happy pay a few hundred dollars for use of each for one day.

Acton Community Access Television, Inc. ("ACAT") is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation that manages Public, Education and Government Access television in the Town of Acton, Massachusetts. This is an exciting opportunity to take a new, state-of-the-art 4800 square foot television studio, and lead in into the forefront of public access television.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Executive Director's key responsibility is to grow ACAT's business to make the station a valued asset for the town of Acton in an economically sustainable manner. The Executive Director will also be responsible for the administrative and financial oversight of ACAT; reaching out to Acton and the surrounding community; and ensuring the technical functioning of the station.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. Implement the plan for growth

o visibility in the community,

o the production of diverse and quality programming
� Remain informed about trends, technical updates, other events and regulatory issues within the PEG access field in order to share knowledge, adopt best practices, and prepare ACAT for future trends in the industry.

2. Administrative

� Ensure compliance with ACAT contracts and monitor operating expenses to assure cost-effective operations and purchasing procedures, implementing responsible fiscal processes.
� Pursue and incorporate additional revenue sources through a variety of fundraising and entrepreneurial activities consistent with the mission of the organization.

4. Reaching out to the community
� Increase awareness of the station and the opportunities for involvement for the community.
� Build and maintain a close working relationship with representatives of civic institutions, organizations, and community leaders in Acton.
� Develop and coordinate an active volunteer program.

5. Technical
� Manage the overall operation of ACAT's production facilities and equipment.
� Ensure station is operational 7x24.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

We film weddings & events and need talented and motivated people to help us as second shooters and eventually become first shooters. If you have experience shooting events, that would be a plus. However we are really looking for people who have a creative eye, a desire to work in the event world, and a passion for filmmaking. If your real desire is to make an independent film to play at festivals, you may not be the right candidate. We shoot weddings and events. We tell great stories of peoples lives. 7. Maintain sufficient inventory of related supplies (bulbs, batteries, cables, DVD's, power supplies)/ ensure operating efficiency of equipment.
8. Perform light maintenance schedule and work with maintenance vendor as required.
9. Perform setup and tear down of room furniture and equipment.
10.Maintain equipment and furniture storage rooms in good order.

Requirements:
