The building is very quiet and private, one long block to Harvard Law School, and minutes from the main campus, Harvard Square, and the T-stop. I'm offering the room below market value because it will largely be unfurnished. There will be a built-in desk with shelves, an old desk chair, and a three-drawer bureau in the closet, which is large and also includes shelves. There are also two extra closets in the entryway which can be used for storage. The kitchen includes 2 small refrigerators with built in freezers (I've never had a problem keeping anything frozen except ice cream), a stovetop, a microwave/conventional oven combination, and lots of cabinets. The bathroom has a sink, toilet, shower with curtain, and a large storage cabinet.

Please get back with me ASAP if you're interested because I'm leaving for a roadtrip on May 22 and need to have everything settled by then so I can send keys to you, etc.

-The other roomies are: a sweet French scientist, a Noam Chomsky researcher at MIT, a psych phd at tufts and his girlfriend (they share the big bedroom), a new subletter from Seattle, and a really funny and awesome high school math teacher

-The best things about the house are that it is so friendly and CHEAP. the house itself is nothing too fancy, although it's got such a nice vibe - i think it would be a fun place to relax over the summer

- okay about sharing (we are super considerate roommates/friends and have an unspoken system about chores, buying toilet paper, and sharing things like cooking ingredients and condiments. I am not one to label everything in the fridge or keep a calendar about who's turn it is to do chores. I'm not going to freak out if you use my milk or eggs. If you are nit-picky and split everything down to the penny and you aren't the type to notice that I've been the only person taking out the trash but not make an effort to help out from time to time, I probably wont enjoy living with you.)

It's clean, nice, safe, and Washington Square has a laundromat (there's no laundry in the apt), grocery store, and a bunch of great restaurants and bars. My roommates are 2 girls and one guy, ages 23-26. They are great people who get along well. We all love to cook, watch TV, have board game nights, drink a little, and generally be our cool selves. Drugs, pets, and smoking are not allowed.

The entire apartment is furnished (beautifully). The kitchen and living room are connected making it very spacious, there are 1.5 bathrooms, washer/dryer in the unit (very convenient). I will be moving out of Boston to attend grad school in the Fall and would like to sublet my place preferably to a female for June, July, and August (dates are flexible). The room is very spacious - there is plenty of room even after putting in a bed, desk, two dressers, and a bookshelf. The apt is clean, well-maintained, and even comes with private parking in the back. My roommate is a 25 yr-old professional who will be attending Harvard grad school in the Fall. She is super laid-back, fun, clean, and we both are very respectful of each other's belongings and space. The other tenants in the building are clean and respectful (I hardly even see them.)

This is a real gem in Cambridge. For students attending summer school or taking classes at Harvard or MIT, this is a great location. It is walking distance to the Harvard T stop and literally a 5-10 minute walk to Harvard University/Harvard Square, Central Sq, and other cool little places in Cambridge. For all the amenities (private parking, weekly maintenance, gardening, clean storage in basement) and location, it is a great deal. A/C, heat, and hot water are included.
