Stonehill College is seeking a Web Technology Manager. Working with entire Marketing team within our Enrollment Management & Marketing Division, this individual is responsible for the day to day management and oversight of the Ingeniux Content Management System, develop and build out schemas and stylesheets and will provide on-going business analysis and monitoring of all of Stonehills online activities using Google Analytics.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Administer the Ingeniux Content Management System (CMS)
Develop and build out schemas and stylesheets
Analyze on-going business needs and monitor the colleges online activities using Google Analytics
Collaborate with the Director of Marketing & Web Editor to plan and implement search engine marketing campaigns
Partner with the Web Editor and outside vendors to increase Stonehills ROI as the Colleges web presence continues to evolve.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Bachelors Degree in a Computer Science or equivalent education experience in the computer science field; and a minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience with Internet/Interactive development (in a higher-education environment is a plus). Specific experience in developing XML and XSLT, developing schemas and stylesheets and XHTML/CSS development are required.
The ideal candidate will have at least three years familiarity and experience with technologies such as content management systems, HTML, XHTML, CSS, Flash, Java, XML, XSLT, .net, Perl, PHP, SQL, Streaming Media.
The successful candidate has also used Google Analytics to plan and track marketing campaign-related calls-to-action and to generate business-oriented traffic reports to key stakeholders as well as proven success leading SEO/SEM campaigns.
Podcast Production and Publication, General Web Design, Photoshop/Dreamweaver Skills, experience with Common XML/XSLT Authoring Tools such as Oxygen XML Editor and knowledge of Windows Server 2003 and Microsoft Internet Information System (IIS) are highly preferred.
The well-qualified candidate will possess an ability to comprehend marketing strategies and offer solutions and innovative, smart concepts that will help Stonehill to achieve its institutional goals and objectives.
