We have a 4 bedroom cape with one huge bathroom, laundry in breezeway and one car garage on close to an acre of high land (dry cellar). We have a very private back yard with woods in back and looking across street to a lovely field. Our home could easily be added onto to make a nice in law apartment attached to the other side of our one car garage. This is a long shot but there may be someone out there who wants to go back to owning their own home or living with children and not having a lot of rules and regulations. We need a place with a much lower mortgage payment and much less maintenance but our home is now under the water. It is valued at $247k but we owe $289k. We would gladly "trade down".
