They are currently in a municiple pound in RI about 1 hour south of Boston. The kittens have had NO vet care, that will be up to the adopter to provide. Kittens are clean, no fleas. All kittens treated with advantage as a precaution. There is no fee for the kittens but a $25 spay/neuter deposit is required. You will get the $25 back after the kitten has been fixed. It must be done by 6 months of age and the shelter does follow up.
If interested please tell me a little bit about what kind of home you would have for a kitten and let me know if you plan on declawing, have any children in the home and their ages, any other pets, a current vet reference and if you are looking for an indoor or outdoor kitten. Renters need landlord permission.

My mother got them back in December/November as a christmas gift for my brother and sister, however she passed away in March and it's difficult enough for me to take care of my siblings, let alone two big dogs.

It's a hard decision, and it's hard for the kids, but we just can't afford to keep them, and it's not fair to the dogs. I've only kept them this long because the kids were upset about it, but they've come to realize too that we're in no position to keep them.

So basically, I'm wondering if anyone knows of anywhere or anyone I can contact about finding them a good home. I'm trying to look out for their best interests.

We need to know they will be taken care of. And declawing DOES matter. Just ask the declawed cats that have been turned into us for litterbox or biting issues. You can't though because they were euthanized cause no one would adopt them. And yes knowing if their are children in the home does matter. If we know the cat plays too rough or might scratch if picked up ect...we would not want your young child to get hurt and then it ends up back in the shelter or on the streets.

He's less than a year old. He is over a foot long at the moment but could grow quite large. He's not very aggressive and doesn't hunt on his own so he *NEEDS TO BE FED* a time or two a week. This is a great tank for aggressives- in the past I've had a wide variety in with him: puffers, lionfish, groupers, tusks, etc. He hides under his rocks.

**I will tend to breeds most people shy away from (pits, rotties, mastiffs, ...), but I would definitely like to meet you in your home with the dog(s) so s/he knows me first, even take a walk together before you leave.

**Having a pet sitter is better than a kennel! I double as a house sitter-- my coming and going lends the notion someone is home. I bring in the papers/mail, turn lights on/off and open/close shades.

**Plus, dogs don't get the anxiety a kennel stay causes, they are happier and calmer upon your return.

**Cats' relationships are affected by boarding, too. They base so much on scent and it all gets mixed up in a room filled with strange felines.

**Pet care takes place in YOUR home, not mine (there has been some confusion on that).

**I have several years experience and solid references, both character and professional.

**My rates vary based on amount of visits, tasks at visit, number of pets, distance, etc.
