Frightened Kitty Needs Socializing Foster/Permanent Home (Protection League Kitty)

Lilly is a pudgy spayed tiger female. Her shots are up-to-date. She was abandoned behind a dentist’s office and the girls in the office fed her. She had to be trapped. She stayed for a year with an animal rescue volunteer, and she became very friendly. She would roll on her back for a tummy rub, and loved to be stroked. Several months ago she was placed in a home. She is not doing well. There are young children in the house, coming and going, and Lilly has retreated to the basement. She appears afraid of everyone in the house. She desperately needs a quiet home without children, and she is definitely a woman’s cat. She is good with other cats, but not with dogs. We are looking for someone who has worked with frightened kitties before, and can bring her back around.
