Moving to south shore soon and are cleaing things out of our house. I am posting this for my father because he wants to get rid of the 1978 Honda Goldwing(model name= GL1000) in the garage. Here are the details on the bike: Miles: 32,150, Color: Black paneling, minor rust on crome pipes, engin size= 1,000 cc.

About 3 years ago he stopped riding the motorcycle and it has been sitting in our garage. We rolled the bike out today to start it but it would not fire up. He is looking to just get rid of the bike and just wants it gone at this point. I am not sure why it will not start but anyone that knows info on motorcycles im sure could figure it out (I know close to nothing).

The bike would come with the title and 2 older helmets that are in good condition. Anyone that was interested would have to probably tow the bike away either in a trailer or larger size pickup. i have a 1982 cr125 95% restored. new crank, bearings, seals, complete gasket set, honed cylinder with 1.5mm oversize wiseco piston, kmc chain, front wheel, rebuilt transmission, repainted frame and engine cases, new spark plug boot and rewired ignition, new stator, flywheel, all new motor hardware, clutch plates, fibers, and springs rear shock replaced, plastics sanded down primered painted and clear coated, new shift lever, rear brakes, etc etc alot of new parts on this bike. its not a show piece but a HUGE head start towards one. this bike is extremely clean has not seen dirt since rebuild. brand new exhaust straight from the warehouse that alone was about 300. the bikes pretty much complete. needs a carburetor bowl gasket. ive put more than my asking price into this bike so i wont take any less. just something to keep me busy. i have plenty of pics so just ask. price reduced again. need it gone. carb needs a little tuning.
