This dog is almost 2 years old she was a family members dog who couldn't take care of it because they had another baby. Now I've been taking care of it for over a year and have no time for it. I have a crate for her and she has all her shots and she's been fixed. She was trained but when I stopped being home everyday she has become spiteful. We are still looking for a home for our black lab/border collie mix female dog named Josczafina. She is a wonderful dog but does not get along well with our young children. She is spayed, up to date on all shots and has heart guard and frontline for the rest of the year. She is a very loyal animal but was abused by the children of the people who owned her before us, and therefore does not like small male children. Unfortunately, she did not show her dislike of children until recently when our son was born. (She loved our daughter, as shown in the pic). She loves to run and would be great for a hunter or avid outdoor person.

We need to find her a home ASAP or we will need to put her down in order to keep our children safe. We have had her for 7 years and it kills us to make a decision like this but, we need to put our childrens' safety first.

Samantha was turned into the shelter by her owner because she was moving and could not take Samantha with her. After about being a month in the shelter, Samantha got her lucky break, a family adopted her. We were thrilled. That was until a few days later when they returned her saying "all she did was hide under the bed." So they exchanged her for another cat they felt was more outgoing. So now Samantha is back to spending most of her days in a cage. When I volunteer on Saturdays I let her out because she likes to sit in the laundry room on the shelves. Samantha is not an overly timid cat. We have cats in the shelter certainly more timid than her. She appears sweet and friendly in the shelter, which is why she was adopted in the first place. What I think the family did not understand is that it sometimes takes more than a few days for a cat to adjust to a new home. They gave up on her too quickly. I think Samantha would make a wonderful companion for anyone. She would be OK as an only cat but she also would most likely be fine in a home with another cat too. Because she has already been returned for being too timid, I am looking for a home that is quiet without children. Plans for children in the future would be OK, as she would already be adjusted to her home at that point.
Samantha is 2 years old, spayed and current on her shots.
The shelter is in RI about 1 hour away from Boston.
There is NO adoption fee for Samantha, BUT I will be screening carefully for the right FOREVER home. If interested, please tell me about what type of life you could offer her and let me know if you have a vet reference. Adopting Samantha free up her cage to save another life.

I have one last kitten out of a litter of 4. Puffin is a litte gray striped baby who was born on 7-8-08. I am not 100% sure but I think she is a girl. She is funny and cute and oh so sweet!!!! I have attached a picture of her. Puffin is on the left in the first picture and that is her taking a nap after playing hard all day!

She is a little lost b/c all her "friends" have gone to other homes- she is left behind :(. She would do great in a home with another cat or kitten- she loves to play! She is litter box trained, eats real kitty food-wet and dry- and really like water to drink!

i recently moved to duxbury. my cat is unfamiliar with the area and hes mostly an inside cat. he snuck out three weeks ago and im exhausting all ideas to find him. hes large, white with 2 black spots on his head and a black tail. hes declawed, extrememly friendly. he got lost in the milbrook corner area. please help me find him!

I am currently a Weekend Nursing Student on Friday's and Saturday's at Bunker Hill Communtiy College. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I am looking for a full time nanny position with a family that is fun and loving that I can be a part of and help raise their child/children the way they feel is right. I enjoy going to the park, libraries and museums.
I am looking for 40 hours a week. Fridays are a tough day for me. I would be able to work till 2pm or not work at all on a Friday and do longer days. I am very flexiable about hours and if you run into problems and need me to stay longer I am able to do that.

I am seeking a PT babysitter or nanny beginning at the end of January to watch my two kids ages 51/2 and 31/2. I will need someone on Mon, Tue, and Thurs. for roughly 9 hours a day who can drive (for drop off and pick ups from school). The right person will be a non-smoker and okay with a dog. We are somewhat flexible with times.
