I'm moving to my own apartment soon and will sadly be leaving this great place. This advertisement is for a January 1st move-in day.

This apartment is wonderful. Washer/Dryer in the apartment, free to use, dishwasher, gas stove, microwave, two fridges, huge living room with built-in shelving for books/decorations, and even a massive storage closet that can hold just about anything! The place has a ton of character with great colors on the wall and furnishings to make you truly feel at home. There's an amazing porch which I'm really going to miss. It faces out towards Fenway park and you can see the glow of the lights when the game is on. There's free off-street parking in the back and a space opening up since I'm leaving.

The neighborhood is also just as excellent. The apartment is right in-between Central Square and the BU campus. You're no more than a 12 min walk from all the best spots to be in the city. A great deal for a BU, MIT, or Harvard student. The neighborhood itself is quiet and residential. Almost right across the street you have a Trader Joe's and Starbucks and for an extra 5 min walk you have a Whole Foods and a Rite-aid. The 47 bus has a stop right across the street that will take you directly to BU, the C line, Longwood Medical and on to Boston Medical Center and even the Orange line!

Your new roommates would be three women, one a 28 year-old 9-5 professional who works for the MFA and the other a 24 year-old grad student studying the viola, and a third woman who will also be moving in around the same time as yourself. All are incredibly friendly and clean. They both love to have fun, laugh a lot and generally just make the world a brighter place to be in. The house in which the apartment resides is also very communal place. There are a dozen or so people living in the house split between three apartments. Everyone loves to hang out with each other and every once in awhile there will be a dinner party thrown, an Iron Chef challenge given, and, in the summer, lots of barbeques.

We maintain a chore wheel to keep things tidy but are open to new ideas if anyone has them. Although no utilities are included in the rent, they are generally very low throughout the year. Our gas/electric bills range from around 20 (in the summer) to 50 (in the winter). We share wireless internet across the entire house so when we do pay (which isn't very often) it's only about 4 bucks or so.
