It's got an amazing appetite, and will eat anything that fits into his mouth, and will try to fit everything else into his mouth. I once caught him with the head of my 12" royal clown knife in his mouth, although he spit it out immediately after, when he realized that it just wasn't going to fit inside of him. Never again has he tried to go after my knife again. Very peaceful and doesn't bother any of the other tank mates.

I have two cats, both have been fixed. My male is 7 years old and my female is 6years old. I have lost my job and my husband has just started new employment with lower pay so money is very tight. although these 2 are part of the family we just cant afford to keep up with everything and the cats. Female only needs this years rabi(sp?) shot, male is up to date on everything. I will let you know that 1-2 times a year the male cat gets a urine tract infection and needs medicine- ammox., the vets i have taken him to cant explain why this keeps happening but i figured i would be honest from the go.
Although these 2 have been together for 5 years they still have times where they fight so although i feel they should go together i think its better to split them up.
I dont want to go to a shelter for most put animals to sleep and these 2 deserve a loving home with families that can care for them.
I have kids so there is no worries about that, they have NOT been near dogs and again i recommend 2 seperate homes for these 2. I have pictures i can send to any serious inquiries, and a meeting to meet you would be def!

Hello, I currently have a 55G set up ready for at least 2 baby turtles!! The tank is big enough for them to live out a few years in the same tank!!

I would prefer Red eared sliders, yellow bellied, map turtles, painted turtles!!

I would love them to be less than 2 inches.. I prefer them to be hatchlings however will take whatever!!

I have previously owned a few turtles so I have experience with them!!

I perfer just a straight adoption, however I may pay a small adoption fee (prefer you be in the Waltham/Newton area), however I can give you gas money if you would agree to come and meet me to drop the little guys off!!

Sweet bunny needs new home (Burlington)

Delilah is a female Dutch Tort. She has not been neutered yet. I got her in October when she was 6-8 weeks old. She is very domesticated and would much rather be hopping around the house and around people than be stuck in her cage. She is an indoor rabbit. I am in college and can no longer keep her. My dad is allergic and will not let me keep her at our house any longer. I want to make sure she goes to a home who will keep her cage indoors, but let her out to hop around and play and interact for hours each day. I have the largest Wabbitat brand cage for her, a water bottle, food dish, airtight container for her food to be stored in, and a carrying cage for her. I am not seeking money for her, only a good home. She is very loved at my house. She hops around at our feet, following us around all day. She hops up on to the couch with my family to lie next to us. She loves to be patted and will give kisses by licking your hands to show her appreciation. I am looking for a pet sitter for my miniature pinscher. Specifically, I need someone that lives close to St Elizabeth's Hospital (I live in that vicinity) and someone that is easy going and relaxed around dogs.

She is litter box trained and her food is on a timer so I would only need her to be visited once a day for quick play time and the necessities. She is like a cat in the fact that she is very indifferent and doesn't not care if she is left alone for long periods. If I were going away for more than 3 days, I would require you to have a longer visit with her or visit twice during the day.

I agree with both previous postings the programs can be great, but they can also not work at all. The trick is finding a place that will TEACH you how to work with your dog CORRECTLY when you get back home. I have heard about the place in Framingham. I sent my dog to a place in woburn, royal dog and it was the best $$$ I ever spent, between the traing there and at my house my dog is awesome.

Never ever give them your personal details ... you try to sell something for $100 ... they offer to buy for $200 ... they get these pet pictures from a single website out there ... they also infiltrated the likes of home business jobs like processing ... replicating websites that are genuine, they have even infiltrated eBay ... oh the list goes on and on .. they do not even care that they have been exposed several times on CNN ... they just keep on thinking the whole world is asleep and only they are awake!

There are a lot of Nigerian 419 scammers on the net these days. Many many of them have infiltrated into the Craigslist community and a lot of them in the pet sections. I would like to paste here a response I received ... this is only one email out of 4 ... and believe it or not all of them "happen" to be in Cameroon ... hahahahha ! I feel sad for these people ... do they really think the entire world is asleep and only they are awake? Here is the email ... so people beware of anything along these lines ... Hey just to let the cl users know...there IS a board & train program that works. We went thru Gemini dog training....spent over 300$ there & our dog Sammy got kicked out because he was too "aggressive"...no results. We went thru an in-home trainer (another 500$) and Holli was GREAT for her and not us...again no results. We tried Bark Busters and he told us to growl at our dog when she was bad....woohoo! Guess what...that didn't work either. Then we went to Absolute K-9 out in Fitchburg. Ian gave us back a NEW Holli and trained US! We take her everywhere we can now and never use our leash because we don't need to. She listens EVERY time and if there is EVER a new problem her training is guaranteed for as long as we own her, and now that she listens I hope that will be many years to come. Do what is right for you and your dog, but if you are looking for a board & train program that truly does work, look up Absolute K-9 in Fitchburg. It was worth every penny. OLIVER needs a new home. He is a 4-year-old grey/white socks male domestic short-hair originally rescued/adopted in NY. He has been neutered and had all of his kitten vaccinations. He is a unique cat with PERSONALITY. He loves to cuddle but only on his own terms, i.e. at night he'll sleep with you faithfully but during the day he'd rather run and play. He is extremely interactive with people. If you were looking for a dog but could only get a cat, Oliver is for you. He plays fetch with little play mice and has extra digits on each paw (front and rear, which is very unusual), six "fingers" rather than five. He does well with children but tends to be dominant with any other cat (though he has lived peacefully and happily with other cats). Oliver does sneeze a lot, but his health is intact and it doesn't seem to bother him. There is no adoption charge but we will only adopt him to a loving home. Board and train programs seem like a wonderful thing. They board your dog for a week or two, train them all sorts of cool things, then you pick your dog up and they are the best behaved dog EVER! They can do tricks, walk on a leash, be off-leash... you name it! It sounds almost too good to be true- and that's because it IS!

The REASON why board & train programs do NOT work is simply that while your dog may behave wonderfully for them at THEIR facility, if your dog does not respect you and see you as it's pack leader, it will not behave quite the same way once you get back home! The reason your dog has behavioral issues in the first place is because you (no offense!) are not the best pack leader you can be. With a little help, you can earn your dog's respect and trust. As you do this, you will notice certain behaviors begin to change for the better and eventually disappear completely. Why spend tons of money on a board & train program if it's not going to fix the real underlying problem?

I personally refer everyone I run into with dog behavioral problems to look into BarkBusters. It's holistic, not physical, and they can help you with ANY inappropriate behaviors in your dog. (chasing the cat, walking on a leash correctly, tricks, off leash work, food aggression, dog aggression, fearful tendencies, you name it!)

I hope you consider all your options before sending your dog off to 'boarding school' to be trained. I don't post this to be rude or offensive or anything of the sort. I feel people have a right to know there are other options which may work better for them.

So, here is something that I am not happy about. We are going on vacation for 2 weeks (from June 14 to 28). The dog can't come...not allowed. So, I need someone to take care of him for 2 weeks.

Here is the rough part...I can't pay a ton. We can talk about it, but the current place where I board him is $35/night, and that is just too much.

What I would love is if my dog could come stay with you for two weeks. He is a love. Very happy, very healthy, and just a pal.

I am finding it difficult to find a pet sitter on Memorial Day weekend. I live in Chelsea and have two older toy poodles. They are both very affectionate and have a lot of energy. Is anyone available to watch them? They have never been to a kennel, so I want to try and avoid that route. I would want to meet with you before and have my dogs meet you as well. It would be from Friday through Monday. You can either stay at my house or I can bring them to yours. References a must.
