The company that runs the Personal Training for Workout World Gyms (Nashua, Methuen, Medford, Waltham, Norwood, Randolph & Brockton) and Gold's Gym (Somerville) are looking for top people sell Personal Training in these locations. The company is called Professional Fitness, located in 16 various states with 80 health clubs in different gym chains throughout the US. Due to constant growth we are always looking for good people to help grow our company. Professional Fitness has 14 locations in the Boston/New England area and we are looking to fully staff all locations.
Training Managers are responsible for introducing gym members to the fitness lifestyle, by giving away free workouts to gym members and running teams of qualified Personal Trainers. No outside marketing is required. All Management positions are full-time: Mon-Friday, 8am-Noon and 4pm-8pm; Saturdays, 8am-Noon; Sundays off.
80% of the job is sales and 20% is operations and Management.

The position is definitely not for everyone, you must have a PASSION for fitness and helping others get in shape! The full-time work schedule is 50+ hours per week and sales is a key component of the manager position. However, one thing I can promise you, you will be rewarded for your hard work and the results you bring to the studio.
Candidates must be knowledgeable in fitness. Current First Aid, CPR, and personal trainer certifications required (not required for manager position but very desirable.) ACSM, NASM or NSCA certifications preferred.
Salary:
Managers: 40k-75K+
Full Time Trainer: 35k-75k+
Part Time Trainer: $15-$20 hourly

• Cleaning & Monitoring that the studio clean, stocked with supplies and clutter free at all times – this includes the front desk, front entrance & waiting area, hallways, bathrooms,break room, hand washing room & massage rooms
• Monitoring daily staffing needs in advance and taking action to have optimal staff coverage for high volume times
• Promoting & Upgrading Business – offering massage upgrades, rebooking, selling memberships & packages
• Be able to ask questions to develop accurate perception and understanding of others needs and opinions
• Be sensitive to and aware of personality differences and conflicts
• Be able to modify your own behavioral style to respond to the needs of others while maintaining one’s own objectivity and sense of dignity
