I have a barely used alternator for subaru legacy 1990-1994. I replaced it on my legacy but then had to scrap the car because of brake problems. The alternator was used for 6 months. It was recently tested at Autozone and passed without problem. There is an autozone near my house so you could easily bring it and have it tested yourself. The retail price is 165 dollars.
