Out set list is quite eclectic and ranges from Pink to Heart - from Wilco to Sara Barielles - with some of our own material, too.

We have pro gear (tri-amped, 6 cab PA, 24-bit fully automated mixer, Shure 87-C mics, in-ear monitoring, 5 matched mics on drums), a large, highly secure rehearsal space, and respect for each other and the music.

Are you getting a bit tired of the same routine, feeling creatively constrained in your current/former band, looking to play with other top-talent musicians and would like to have the freedom to explore new approaches to cover material? We are too (and we apologize for the marketing-oriented blather ;~).

We have been in successful area cover bands for many years, very experienced gigging out, have solid venue contacts, and are a newly-forming band (currently guitar and bass) wanting to bring together a new kind of cover band that has our own sound and style (and dont aspire to doing the songs exactly as recorded), that can put on a high-energy, exciting, fun, and memorable performance focused mostly on dance-oriented popular (NOT Pop) rock covers from the past 15 or so years (although not exclusively). We want playing out to feel good and rewarding. Looking to play out twice/month, we have families and day jobs, not looking for this to be a burden, but are willing to put in the necessary homework.

Beach Boys Tribute forming. Envisioning a 6 piece group ultimately, looking for people with exceptional vocal skills and ability to easily harmonize in 3 or 4 part harmonies - clear high vocal range is a plus but accurate and steady pitch is essential. Vibrato is not welcome! If you play guitar or keys, thats also a plus but not required. This is not a male-only opening, a female with the right vocal tone could work as well.

We have extensive experience in bands, solid equipment, a good PA and the determination to make this happen.

Looking to play nice venues with this band, summer outdoors concerts, Foxwoods, big halls, etc. Beach Boys will be the primary source material, but other strong harmony bands will likely get in the mix too (CSNY, Beatles, perhaps some jazz quartet stuff - if we had a female singer who could handle leads, we might try some Carpenters). We will likely favor the earlier BB material (surfing, cars, and girls, what else is there?) at first but will eventually try for Pet Sounds end to end, and some Smile material too. Kokomo is not on the short list!

21 y/o guitarist looking to start an indie band. Dont have a jam space, so hopefully you do, or rent one. Practice like 1-2 times a week to start. I'm very laid back and yet serious when it comes to writing. This kinda will sound like im an asshole/or have an ego (trust me im/have neither), but if you think that dragonfore is simply the most amazing band ever and all you want to do is play a million miles an hour on whatever your respective instrument, Dont Reply.

What I Like: -harmony and melody, -screaming (not growling) as a complement but singing is usually better, -technical yet accessable (less is usually more), -emotive

Sorry for being so picky and lengthy, I just love music an an art, and dont want just to do this for fame, girls, or getting drunk instead of practicing and shit like that .... I just want to make good music with good people

We jam 3 nights a week, gig about 2-3+ times a month, have 2 ep's and merch. Our current bass player cannot handle recording to a click track and has trouble picking up new songs.
