To all the parents, nannies, sitters, providers, FCCs, Au Pairs, organizations, Martians, anarchists, and others who post flash flood listings (see fig. 1), please stop!
It's annoying, it's misleading (it makes you look unnecessarily desperate, especially when you use capslock), and it's giving people carpal tunnel who don't deserve it as they spend extra time scrolling down the list.
I assure you, you don't make your daycare, your family, or yourself more popular or more qualified by using this technique. You instead make yourself...well, is CraigThug a word yet?
If, as in figure 1, you wish to post in two or more languages, I suppose you could get away with TWO ads. Even so, however, it would be better (yes, not a different idea but a better one - those things do exist; see: Obama v. McCain, 2008) if you'd just have a title like this...

I currently work for a great Andover family of 2 children and have been doing so for the past 7 years. Unfortunately, both children will be going to full day school sept 2010. Sadly I wont be needed. I am available immediately as of sept 2010. Anything before that and I will have to give my current family ample time to prepare.

Currently I work 50 hours/wk, M-F @17$/hr, for 2 children on salary. I have absolutely no problem working more then 50 hours, the occasional weekend etc.

I am 29 years old and have no children of my own, so my time is flexible. I have no problem with last minute babysitting calls.
Although I do have a car of my own, if a car is to be used during work hours a vehicle must be provided by the employer along with a full tank of gas every week. Also, compensation for $ spent on the children is a must. I will absolutely not be offended if you ask me to show reciepts. We can definately discuss a budget for weekly spending.

On a daily basis I currently do 1-2 loads of laundry/day, load/run and unload dishwasher, light housekeeping and always clean up after the children. Additional duties can be discussed.

Disapline is firm not strict.
I love to teach, especially hands on and am an artist my self so art time is a must for me. I'm a kid at heart and enjoy doing kid stuff like running and goofing off on the playground, playing dress up or just being silly. I know lots of other nannies around Andover so playdates and outings are always abundant! Plus this ensures your child will get lots of social interaction. Your getting paid to do a job and should be lucky to be able to bring your own child along and save on daycare.
