The Friends of the J.V. Fletcher Library will host their annual meeting followed by the featured speaker, Matthew Pearl, author of The Dante Club, The Poe Shadow and most recently The Last Dickens. Mr. Pearl is a best selling author whose historical, intricate whodunits are populated by literary greats, grounded in literary themes, and laced with fast-paced mysterious twists. Populated with local literary luminaries, his works have been translated into over 30 languages. Doors will open at 6:45 p.m. for beverages and desserts.
