I'm looking for someone computer savvy to work in my office with me, side by side, no remote workers wanted. I'm disabled enough to need help in my office, finding things, filing papers, reading things, organizing, and keeping track of sales receipts, appointments, etc. and every once in a while I have to be reminded to eat! I am working with Photoshop, Quark, for publishing and Quicken and Microsoft Office at this time. I'm also using Wordpress right now on a blog site. I am not as familiar with the software as I'd like to be or it would go a lot smoother, though I do have a very helpful web mistress. I am also self- publishing my second book online at this time. The Newburyport Liberator is an established political journal of opinion based in Newburyport. It is delivered to 200 subscribers and sold in ten local stores around town. We are looking for someone to sell advertising for the journal, which is 12 pages and comes out every two weeks. This job would be very part-time and an ad salesman would receive a 25% commission for all ads sold, with the opportunity to earn more if successful.

This is a good opportunity to earn some spare cash but is by no means a full-time opportunity. The journal currently has a small number of advertisers but we're looking to build our community advertising by offering low rates and flexible plans.
