	Provide level 2 support for the application(s), handling calls that cannot be resolved by the Help Desk. Create new user accounts related to PTS.<br>

As the Helpdesk Analyst, this individual will be a key member of the IT team and will be primarily responsible for supporting the end user technology environment of Beacon.  This will include maintenance and management of company desktops, notebooks, printers, servers and other office equipment and related software.  In addition, this individual will participate in the implementation of new hardware and software including the installation and configuration of MS applications on the end user computers.  Additionally, this individual will be in the team lead to maintain and support Beacons enterprise LAN/WAN and users on a 24x7x365 basis.  This individual must be able to wear multiple hats across IT, have exceptional communication and documentation skills, and have at least 2 years of experience working in a fast paced technology environment.<br>
<br>
Primary Responsibilities:<br>
	Provide level one technical support to Beacon staff by manning the helpdesk <br>
	Provide internal technical support for staff, including internal desktop support and troubleshooting hardware and software issues. <br>
	Provide software support and technical assistance to Beacon end users.<br>
	Perform primary level troubleshooting (diagnose, identify, troubleshoot, and resolve problems) of issues presented to helpdesk.<br>
	Identify and route Secondary level IT calls for final resolution.<br>
	Provide on-site application training and technical support on an as-needed basis.<br>
	Document common/recurring IT support processes.<br>
	Draft process manuals and instruction documents to develop an internal knowledge base.<br>
	Perform software testing and analysis.<br>
	Maintain company hardware and software inventory.<br>
	Support and maintain corporate security, backup and recovery procedures<br>
	Maintain and perform hardware set up, proper configuration and system modifications to assure high availability and performance.<br>
	Management and administration of Windows servers on a 24x7x365 basis<br>
	Support end user computing resolving hardware and software issues<br>
	Provide desktop support via phone/email and in person for all local and remote users on a 24x7 basis.<br>

 Experienced with Veritas/Symantec Backup Exec. <br>

Summary<br>

Our Intern/Helpdesk support role is to do basic computer repair, loading and unloading software, and building and delivering computer systems. <br>
 <br>
 <br>
Responsibilities<br>
	Effectively and efficiently communicate to multiple levels of business and technology users. <br>
	Proactively keep our customers informed of all efforts being under taken on their behalf. <br>
	Basic computer repairs. <br>
	Install and support hardware and software.  <br>
	Record all problem & service calls in the call tracking system daily. <br>
	Participate in projects that effect the desktop environment, including move support, new equipment roll outs, and application upgrades.<br>

Qualifications<br>
	Exceptional proven customer service skills <br>
	Excellent communication skills <br>
	Proven hand-on experience troubleshooting Windows XP PC's, and peripherals <br>
	Strong written and oral communication skills <br>
	Proven ability to learn and adapt to a fast paced technology environment <br>
	Associates in Computer Science or equivalent technical school is a plus <br>
	Microsoft certification is a plus<br>
