Nicky, our 5 1/2 yr old male Siberian Husky had a spinal stroke 7 weeks ago. His back right paw is still limp and dragging but he's slowly getting better with P/T, pool therapy and we’re now trying acupuncture. Nicky's medical bills have reached $3,700.00 so far. A neighbor has kindly, temporarily charged these on her credit card. I do have to repay her the money.
I’ve received many donations from caring people and “Thank You” to all. I still need to raise $2,000 to reimburse my neighbor and to continue with medical treatments until his foot gets better. He has a 90% chance of getting better in 3-4 months.
Nicky is our first dog and I'm amazed at the high cost of pet medical bills when your pet gets sick. We love him as he’s a part of our family and will do whatever it takes to get him walking and running again.

So, I've started a campaign called the "Nickels for Nicky" medical donation fund.
I'm asking anyone that owns a pet (or likes pets) to donate 5 cents or more to help pay for Nicky’s medical bills.

I also have a home/wire cage for dogs weighing up to 50 pounds, I paid 90.00 for this crate, and my dog doesn't even use it, so its collapsable and in super condition. I was asking $45 for it but i'll take 30 for it.

The pet will have daily ,a warm home, clean bedding, fresh water, family style home, lots of playtime(out of cage), handleing, fresh veggies, food, all of this everyday and the animal will not be in a stressful overfull shelter. All animals surrendered will under go a quaranteen for 3 weeks before the animal goes up for adoption. Unsocialized animals get the attention they need and learn to trust.


***Please do not release your pet out into the wild hopeing someone will find them and give them a home. So many animals are released and die within 24 hours or less or days due to hungry wild animals, being hit by cars, NO proper shelter, No proper food available or water and either freeze or overheat from temperatures. Most small animals do not have sweat glands for the hot temperaturs to cool themselves. Please if you can not afford or just can not keep your pets please find a safe loving home or take them to a shelter, even if most are full at this time you can find some further away, its worth the drive to save a life*** They cannot save themselves!



Surrendering (Not always available, but dont hesitate to ask at anytime) Please if your pet is sick be honest as I am not able to accept them due to the health of the other pets in my home. I would recommed those animals be surrendered to a Vet office, shelter or rescue. thanks
Sorry there will be no money exchanged for the animal or supplies surendered into my care. I also will not pick up the animal(s) or meet unless you are with in 5 miles of me.


A list of animals I do take in are guinea pigs, hedgehogs, hamsters, gerbils, mice, rabbits, smaller birds like finches, parakeets and lovebirds, degus, turtles (aquatic & land), all geckos, frogs, salamenders, bearded dragons (Dragons must come with cage & supplies), If I have not listed your pet needing help please email and I will try to help the best I can.
Please do not contact me if you have rats (due to common health issues which can be spread to othere species), snakes, spiders, dogs or cats needing a new home. I only accept the animals in cages.

I can give you A++ references if needed. If a visit of my home is needed, my home is open to you, all you have to do is ask.

My cages are picked/cleaned everyday or as needed, I am a stay at home mom so the animals get the proper care, handling, proper nutrition and attention they need daily. ((Donations of small animal foods and shavings are always welcome and very much needed))

Having owned pets my whole life I know how important and difficult it can be to find a good, reliable pet care provider for your pet.

A few years ago I started a business, inspired by my love for animals, offering professional pet care services at affordable rates.

* Dog Walking $10.00 - $15.00 per visit ( no additional charge for two dogs ) ( specializing in aggressive dogs and dogs with behavior issues ).

All services are designed to meet the clients specific needs

Walks are a minimum of thirty minutes

Most behavior problems in dogs are the result of poor socialization, improper training and lack of exercise & stimulation.
A twenty minute walk in the middle of the day is not enough for most dogs. This is especially true in dogs that are crated all day.
Dogs need to be exercised and stimulated on a daily basis.
In my opinion, the keys to a truly happy and well behaved dog are exercise, proper socialization and good training.

My method of training utilizes positive reinforcement techniques using treats, praise and patience.
The results of my training method are not only to have the dog understand basic commands but more importantly , teach the dog how to live in a human world.

Training is done on a one-on-one basis (no group classes or walks). This allows your dog to be trained individually, providing you and your pet all the attention required to meet your specific goals and needs. I also offer a seven week basic obedience class for puppies and young adult dogs.

Training includes basic to advance, all commands including heel, automatic sit, stay, down and recall done on 6 foot leash out to a 25 foot leash, voice and hand signals, mounds of distractions and preparation for the CGC testing. All problems going on inside the house and outside the house will be covered. Note: Most puppies between the ages of 4-6 months can receive half price meeting only once a week.

A comfortable home which is able to fit two dogs.
Income to financially support them.
Time and energy to devote to two lap dogs.
Years long commitment to take care of them - this will be their third home.
Ability to come pick them up to take them to their new home.

I'm located in Woburn, but I'd be more than willing to pick the dog up to make things as easy for you as possilble.

Rates would be low. $10 per half an hour. If the dog is not socialized and needs individual walks there would be an additional small fee.

I have done this for years, though only for family and friends (not to mention my own dogs) and will treat your friend as if it was one of my own!
