Program Director to oversee the clinical, financial and administrative operations of five residential programs in the Developmental Services Division. Qualified candidates will have experience working with adults with various developmental disabilities and be able to manage flexible staff scheduling, multiple fiscal reporting systems, varied relations with funding sources as well as changing individual needs. Also must be able to ensure proper standards and regulations are adhered to as set forth by the funding sources. Ensure programs meet the quality standards and provide value to the public. Ensure that the intake of prospective persons served is completed in a timely, professional manner; arrange and perform intake procedures, conduct initial assessment of persons’ served appropriateness for program. <br>

Position Summary<br>

Coordinates GEF’s volunteer efforts to increase participation in order to support innovative curriculum initiatives requested of faculty and staff at Gloucester Public Schools. Partners with GPS administration and staff to determine opportunities for volunteers to enhance and promote curriculum offerings and related programs.  Opportunities are filled with appropriate community volunteers. Duties include, but are not limited to:<br>

1.	Generates and maintains an active data base of interested volunteers with background summaries/resumes of skills/hobbies/qualifications. <br>

4.	Develops and uses a pre-established “needs” form to document requirements, time, expectations, and duration of assignments.<br>

5.	Recruits new and qualified community volunteers who have experience in range of areas, e.g., art, music, drama, business, etc.  Develops and places volunteer ads, filters resumes, screens candidates, and introduces volunteers to assigned staff.  <br>

6.	Works with GPS to ensure that volunteers undergo a CORI check, and liaise with the school district to ensure that there are no other background issues which would make a volunteer unsuitable.<br>

<ul>
<li>Takes initial client information and schedules clients for evaluations, counseling an followup appointments; establishes client files; administers release forms and HIPPA forms at time of first client contact for assessment;monitors court referred clients and updates probation and DCF staff of current client status; records all contacts specific to a client and enters in client chart; directs incoming phone calls to clinic staff and refers crisis calls to an on duty staff member; manages client accounts and receipts; notifies the courts of client absences and delinqent accounts for all court-referred clients; makes deposits weekly of client payments; completes the Virtual Gateway Intake form when client comes for their assessment.<li>Performs other tasks as needed by supervising Operations Manager.
</ul>

<li>Experience working in a clinical administrative position/and or a qualifying administrative educational certificate.<li>A strong desire to work with substance abuse populations.<li>Must be bilingual in Spanish and English.
