Bass River Inc. is a human service agency located on the north shore. Its purpose is to provide services to individuals who have developmental disabilities.
Bass River's Salem location is currently seeking a part time direct care staff. Flexible hours. The main duties will include providing assistance to individuals that are developing skills in the areas of; self help/ activities of daily living, communication, socialization, vocational and recreational opportunities both on site and in the community.
Potential of full time positions in future.
Qualifications:
At least 18 years old 6 months experience in social/vocational training program with at least 3 of those month in a direct care position with individuals with developmental disabilities OR a minimum of 3 courses in human services or related field.
Bass River is also looking for PART TIME drivers. Duties are to transport individuals with developmental disabilities from residences to day program and vice-versa. Must have clean driving record. This position is for 2-4 hours per day (M-F 7:00-9:00 and/or 2:45-4:45)
