up for sale is my 1977 ironhead sportster, bike features a 4 in over front end with 4 in riser and strait pipes.
this is a fun little bike that hugs the road and gets looks all the time
recent work (last spring) includes total top end rebuild, jugs honed and bored 20 over, new pistons, rings, valves ect.front brake rebuild..(have receipts totaling 1500$ work done before the tires)
new tires installed may of 09 new clutch cable and new rear sprocket
trany and rear brakes were done 2 years ago by previous owner
bike has been a daily driver by me for 2 years now but has not been driven since sept
currently the bike needs to have the carb cleaned (varnished due to sitting ... would not start last time i tryed) and needs a master link on the chain (never reassembled after changing sprocket due to no chain link tool)
rear sprocket done by a friend, all other work done by a local shop, basically the inside is done now is time for the outside
bike is currently indoors for the winter and i can keep it stored for buyer till spring if really needed
mileage is listed as tmu due to after market gauges and no idea when the gauges were put on
comes with repair manual, baffles for the pipes and a craftsman bike lift

She s ready to be installed.
Would make a great go-kart project too! Air cooled, so no radiators needed!

the back rim does have a tire on it but needs to be replaced but the rim is very clean looks almost new
and it is straight and has good wheel bearings installed.
i have never used the front rim it is how i bought it (like new).
i ended up changing the color of the bike so i got different rims (changed color) and these are just
